Prerequisites for All SOPs
Before performing any SynthID verification:
- A personal Google account or Google Workspace account
- The latest version of the Gemini App (web or mobile)
- You must be signed in to your Google account
- An active internet connection

SynthID can only detect watermarks embedded by Google AI models. A "no watermark detected" result does not mean the content is not AI-generated — it may have been created by non-Google AI systems.
